New:
SINGING LOUNGE
Vocal group at the Frizu Lounge
Thursdays 5pm
Not a typical choir; no classical voice classification.
Sound experiments, improvisations, and pop songs.
Participants have the opportunity to explore their own voices without the pressure to perform. (“If you can speak, you can sing.”) Arrangements are custom-made for this setting, avoiding the traditional division into “male” and “female” voices. Everyone can choose their own vocal range, regardless of gender. No prior experience or ability to read sheet music is required.
Participation is donation-based.
In addition to sound experiments and improvisations, we will sing “all-time favorite” pop songs such as:
Lady in Black (Uriah Heep)
Sweet Dreams (Eurythmics)
Another Brick in the Wall (Pink Floyd)
Let It Be (Beatles)
Als ich fortging (Karusell)
…and similar tracks.
If this mix appeals to you and you are free on Thursdays at 5 p.m., feel free to apply by September 20 at:
